After studying psychology and sociology at Phillips-Universität in Marburg and Justus Liebig Universität in Gießen, Cornelia Hopp began her career at a consultancy in Düsseldorf where she was responsible for carrying out aptitude and assessment tests. She progressed to consultancy work at a well-known recruitment consultancy in north Germany and subsequently became branch manager of the company.
In 1997 Cornelia Hopp joined PETER BRAUN PERSONALBERATUNG GmbH as a managing partner. She specialises in the shipping sector, as well as the chemical and capital goods industries and retailing. Cornelia Hopp also has excellent networks and considerable expertise in recruiting women managers.
She is married, has a daughter and holds a variety of honorary positions in community and business organisations.
